J1 Manpower and Personnel

  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Developing and managing budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Human Resources Management: Overseeing personnel administration, including recruitment, onboarding, and benefits management.

  • Talent Acquisition: Developing strategies to attract and retain skilled volunteers and staff.

  • Training and Development: Creating and implementing training programs for personnel.

  • Records Management: Maintaining personnel records and managing data related to staff and volunteers.

J3 Operations

  • Operations Planning and Coordination: Developing plans for events, activities, and daily operations.

  • Crisis Management: Preparing and executing response plans for emergencies or unexpected situations.

  • Scheduling and Logistics Coordination: Organizing schedules for activities and ensuring resources are in place.

  • Security Management: Overseeing the safety and security of events and facilities.

J4 Logistics

  • Supply Chain Management: Managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.

  • Transportation Coordination: Arranging transportation for personnel and materials.

  • Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance and management of buildings and grounds.

  • Inventory Control: Keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring necessary supplies are available.

J6 Communications

  • Information Technology: Managing IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.

  • Communications Systems: Setting up and maintaining communication systems like phones and the Internet.

  • Public Relations and Media: Handling communications with the public, media, and internal communications.

  • Cybersecurity: Ensuring the security of digital information and systems.

J8 Force Structure, Resource, and Assessment

  • Performance Assessment: Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and initiatives.

  • Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources, including finances, personnel, and equipment.

  • Strategic Planning: Developing long-term plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals.
